This is how our story started: "For Sale: House with vineyard". When we started growing grapes, we soon found out that this vineyard needed lots of TLC, because the vines were in poor condition. Thanks to all the hard work from our gardener and ourselves as well as the help and advice from our neighbours from Hout Bay Vineyards we managed to turn it into a good producing vineyard. Through the years we have become more experienced, trial and error! We know now that nature can be unpredictable and each year it is exciting and fun to wait and see how much our vines will produce. Friends come to help us to harvest. Early morning fun of picking grapes together and as a reward: their name on the back of the bottle. From simple prints as labels in the first year, and Dymo-labels for some years after, we made a big change in 2021 with a new design with our own logo and branding for the 2017 vintage.
